My site originally started out as just the POKéDEX and on a dencity host not this one. Most people lose old versions of their stuff. Did I?......
By the way these pages aren't altered one bit. So don't expect links/pics to work. All coding is as I had originally made it. 2000 05/31/00 - This is pretty much the very beginning. 06/19/00 - Frames were all the rage back then so I tried to use them. 10/03/00 - Eventually I decided to make seperate entries. 2001 05/04/01 - On the sites first birthday I updated it with summer colors. 2002 01/2702 - On this date I switched hosts. From dencity to neo-prosperity. 05/04/02 - For this places second birthday I created this layout which lasted until the next one below. 2003 11/17/03 - The POKéDEX was de-merged to its own ftp. So I took the oppurtunity to redo this site. I took away the borders and began using three bg images, one for the main background, the content background and the menu background. Pages looked something like this. 2005 07/19/05 - This date brought on the current look used right now. Unlike the others, it was an upgrade more than a re-design of the previous look. I learned ta use images in place of borders and really cleaned up the code. 2007 03/15/07 - Just a slight upgrade from the previous one as the text now reaches the edges instead of being pushed off abit. Barely noticable but you know how I obsess on imperfections! 11/27/07 to 12/13/07 - A visual and structural overhaul! Visually not to much changed I mostly just made all pages wider than they had been. The menus appearance was upgraded and looks nicer. As for the structural stuff well the media was split off from gaming into its own section, Onett was moved to the dead sections part also that part of the menu now appears on every page instead of just the index. Stuff under the "Others" label were integrated into the gaming x media and personal labels. Many folder names was changed~ chansey to shrine, pso to phantasy, vg to gaming, and multimedia to images. That last one really took alot of effort to do right since it woulda broke all pictures on the site! The last big change was giving the Chansey Shrine an opening page. Somehow all went well and I thinks its been all for the best! Anyway see how it did look. 2010 07/21/10 to ?? - (Current Style) While I've tweaked & lightly changed stuff over the years it was on my 999th straight update that I got really inspired! No I didn't do some huge overall of the entire site but instead various individual pages. Cause lets face it some stuff is/was plain messy lookin'! Initial targets were the game/media/shrine main pages. After which many pages within those categories would get some changes. Even alil of the sites backbone was changed when I merged game/media pics into single folders instead of yearly ones. There is more to come~ while the overall structure isn't being changed numerous pages will continue ta be freshened up & refined! |
