I got this game a year ago..Feb 1st 2001. Hard to believe it's been that long already. Makes me kind of sad..I am always wanting time back. But let's not go there and just keep this PSO related. I bought this game blindly, relying on just the hype to justify its purchase. I had no idea what to expect really. ....And when I first started to play.... I was not impressed with the graphics one bit. LOL well it's true. But uh anyway I was like ..wtf.... beamed down to the forest ofRagol I saw two doorways so I went through one. Then after going down a path I ended up in another part where baddies started to slaughter me. So I ran backwards to where I started and looked about the are in confusion....I was quite disoriented. And it was weird, I got to thinking that their were many multiple paths to the end of each area. ah the innocense of starting out... ^_^;; But of course a year lately I more then know that to be not true. Infact I pretty much have every map variation memorized lol. Where will an enemy pop-up? What kind will it be? Just ask me! Talking to my first japanese person sure was an experience in its own. Why is they say "oh" so much? I understand "w" to be the equivalent of "lol" but "oh"? Still a mystery to me. I've met more friends on PSO in one year then I probably have on AOL in five years. Of course like on AOL a lot of my PSO friends have moved on an simply vanished ::sigh:: but I keep their guild cards in memorium. ::tapping a finger in thought:: What else can I say? Damn you PSO for making the Daytona servers extinct! LOL. Going online for the first time in this game was like going online for the first time period. Had no idea what I was doing or where I was going but like I always do, I figured things out quite fast. When Valentines day came around and Sonic Team put up the coding for those supremely pretty hearts and vastly better music in Pioneer 2 I first realized just how cool an online game could be. I've said all I could think of for now. I may add more to this later though. For now though, this day is almost at its end so off I shall now go to re-connect to the PSO World. |
