RP sure has changed in the 4+ years I been doing it and chances are, I'm the only one that noticed the changes, that didn't just fall in line with them, and that will speak out about them. So let's go. The Biggest Change? "IMpress me" "im rp devoured" "IM RP is ok" "IM RP prefered" heh heh. Losers. Err...I mean need I go on? Call me crazy but I remember the time when everyone was like, "IMs are for OOC only." hehe. Now it seems like rooms are for OOC while IMs are for IC. It seems to me that IM RP'ers are scared to RP in rooms which is stupid..I'd take a semi-crowded room with at the very least chatter going on then lonely old IMs. Hello, I'm Xavier Valentine Mewtwo speaking. I will use this font and color for speaking my comments. I once remember the time that was said as well. I would like to know what did happen to RP in the rooms. Now it is IMs. Perhaps they [The New RPers] are at least getting a little smarter and putting their cybering into IMs. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's next? hmm...oh dice, dice. Right. "I sim, no dice" "SiM, no dice." "No dice." Okay now it seems half the people accept them under most conditions and half just plain don't. Uh how come? Sure I complained how cheap it was that people got high dice so easily so why not use set dice? Ah. Another trait of the average RPer that wants to cyber these days. Yes, I've seen some of this actions before, and I myself may look like I don't want dice, I use dice for officiating purposes. Personally, I don't see many people except the Trekkies, of course RPing "Star Trek" style, in which there isn't as much fighting OR cybering and more real RPing. OH! Yeah, Anthros. ::shudder:: Anthro Lesbian Inn Anthro Hot Tubs Anthro Slave Cages I dun got any quotes for this one since these room names get the point across. How so? Well there is so many anthros they now have their own rooms based off RhyDin ones. It's just the sad fact that there is so many damned anthro characters nowadays. How irritating. There's no doubt in my mind that people make them for supposedly better cybersex. I really hate how there is more anthros then regular human characters. -_- ::sighs:: And people complain about lack of originality. I concur here. There seems to be a undiversification of people and populace. Like she said though, its for cybering purposes, or what the anthromorphics call it, "yiffing." I really must look up the origin of that word. Proof that they are in for the "yiffing" -- An AOL group called the Caotix basically states that their manifest for existance relies on raping and having sexual interactivity with another being. More proof is pointing the overtones of much RPing based around in the anthromorphic community. Some are angry because of it, and I wish them luck, because it is an uphill battle. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Too many FEMALES!!! I don't mean muns either. I mean characters. Wh..why?! I scroll down the room list and check the rooms...almost nothing but chicks! How boring having play with women only most of the time. Where the hell are the males at? I don't mean those accursed slavers either. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Profiles = Shitty Poems? hehe..oh gawd. The profiles I see ugh.....I don't think I'll bother putting an example since they suck so damn bad. What happened to profiles that oh I dunno .. had something to do with your character(s)??? Now-a-days we got lame poems, mun BS, and links to crappy character sites. LOLs I'm puke now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Profiles = Cybering Samples I've seen all these changes along with Washuu Hakubi of the Juraian Star Empire. Here's something she didn't bring up though: Profiles that simulate cybering. *Hurls Chunks* Here's a sample from the profile "ariocazure" Wonderous choir of the faintest whimperings in praise of euphoric esctacy mingeled with the baritone growls of ensuing release. Mangle of porcelian flesh and bronze tones were joined in the juncture of pink folds and lengthy rod. Plush tiers were pressed fervently to those pale breathern of lover that stood gapping in moments before heaven. Muscles of both participants were clenched then as creamy essence filled feminen enclosure and male flesh released last seed to meet pearly liquid of the females apex. Forced breaths vaporized and twirled as curly whisps into nothingness as lithe frame of asian doll stretched languidly for a moment before awaiting the next coupling with her aryan man. Sick no? Well, AOL has a lot of sick profiles, such as that. They seem to carry the traits of "IMpress Me" and "No Dice", meaning "They want to cyber." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Screennames. Wha...what the hell? miasmic reality steal me away debating me mun bubbles WTF!? These are todays RP'ers s/n's?! Non-rp'ers just have random names but RP'er purposefull pick theirs. And this is what we have now-a-days??? I just don't fucking understand this one bit. |
