Lession 1
Sex/Slave/Anime/VG. Any rooms with names that fit those words will have rp'ers in 'em. Other rooms are left in the dust where even those people that enter and leave right away sometimes won't touch. Cybering sure has sucked the fun out of true rp and variety suffers as such. Lession 2 One of the worst ways a rp session can be ruined. You and some people have been having some fun rp'ing and out of nowhere some lameass modern rp'er comes into the room and starts blowing/shooting the place up. And when you don't take hits, said lamer takes it ooc and calls you guys the newbies and demands you all take the hits LOL. After all is said and done, most people have probably taken off leaving you rp'less once more. Lession 3 Wether in im, PR, or heck even public rooms....all most people want these days in one on one rp. No one else can interfere. If it starts in a public room and someone else comes in either you shutup till they leave or you go to PR or im. Ouch. Kinda makes it hard to rp when you want to stay in a public room but ::gasp:: four or five other people are in it and the person you were rp'ing with thinks that is overcrowding. Lession 4 mhmm mhm! If you make slight mention of even having a character pic you better hand it over to the person asking for it or else they'll bitch at you and not rp. Of course in most cases they won't rp anyway, by why take thay chance? ~_~ Oh and make sure its a "anime" pic! Anything less, even actual people pics, just won't fly with most people. Lession 5 That's right-o. Just look at the rp room list! View who's chatting in the rooms, check out their profiles, and you know what you'll almost always see? YEAH! A girl character! That's right. Girls(and guys posing as them) have taken over. Where are all the boy characters? Well the few of them that are left either are slavers or anthros. yuck. So class just know that when trying to rp, you will most likely be stuck with a girl character. That's not always bad but having to play with them constantly non-stop leaves alot to be desired. Lession 6 ::nothingness:: No rp is the most fun-draining thing of all. Who can't agree with this one? No one. You come online wanting to rp, go from room to room and just nothing. But you press on and keep trying for hours and when it's time to go offline you feel so very drained and depressed as if your time had been wasted. I've noticed this going on for the last four months now as of April '02. So the lesson here? Despite all of the above lessons, you must realize that your time is worth something and so something is indeed better then nothing. |
