Yeah here I am again ranting about the latest fucking craze in advertising. And why shouldn't I? This stuff fucking sucks!
What exactly do I mean? 1.) Ads that start out like news stories but quickly turn into bullshit for their ass product. 2.) Ads that like gameshows or normal conversations which turn into the same crap as above. This stuffs annoying as shit. Even I used to fall for them as if they were for real but I quickly adapted and learned to mute 'em right away. Why isn't this crap illegal? Hell it's worse then commercials that tell you absolutely nothing about the fricking product!! And one last note: Stop with the repititon! Brainwashing is nothing new to the advertising world but you're NOT going to drive your lame ass website addresses and cheesey phone numbers into this girls head! Hey wait a damn minute! There's more! We can't very well forget "classy" commercials nor can I leave out the "change the world" ones. Classy ones speak for themselves but the save the world ones are a whole different story. I see this a lot in bank ads specifically. "Oooh our bank is so good and so great we remember you and we make the community a better place!" You're just a damn bank! STFU! They're all like using us will help make the world a better place and that's a load of shit! So would someone PLEASE fire anyone and everyone who comes up with this crap?? Go back to the simpler days of advertising of which I'm to young to have witnessed myself! |
