This is my shrine to POKéMON #242, Blissey!
The evolution of Chansey and one of the cutest new POKéMON!
Come to think of it....Blissey is now #377 in the R/S series numbering system!
     
Like Chansey, Blissey has also appeared in the show on a number of occasions.
But I am sure we'll see more of her in future episodes.
Like Chansey, she works with Nurse Joy at a POKéMON Center.
I've raises lotsa Chansey's and now it is time for me to raise some Blissey!! I'm sure that under my care that Blissey will become as popular as Chansey is to use! hee hee
Blissey's are so sweet and cute and helpful like Chansey's are!
They do look to me like they are younger then Chansey though. Maybe that is just me.
Also like Chansey they are great to have as friends and have a certain aura around them which can cause you to become happier.
Oh ya. All Blissey are female... ^_^
They also learn their moves faster then Chansey do!
Right now the only Blissey merchandise I have is a cute mini-figure I got when I visited the POKéMON Center in New York.
In the POKéDEX her species is refered to as the Happiness Pokémon.
Her "ability" can be either: Natural Cure or Serene Grace.
Her secret "ability" is Healer.
In Heart Gold & Soul Silver, a Blissey can be found at the Copycats home in Saffron City!
Blissey was featured in the episode "Ignorance is Blissey!"
In POKéMON Rumble Blast she can be found in Echo Valley!

G/Lg/Hg: Anyone who takes even one bite of BLISSEY's egg becomes unfailingly caring and pleasant to everyone.
S/Fr/Ss: It has a very compassionate nature. If it sees a sick POKéMON, it will nurse the sufferer back to health.
C: Biting into one of the delicious eggs that BLISSEY provides will make everyone around smile with joy.
R/S: BLISSEY senses sadness with its fluffy coat of fur. If it does so, this POKéMON will rush over to the sad person, however far they may be, to share an egg of happiness that brings a smile to any face.

D: This kindhearted Pokemon nurses sick Pokemon to health. It senses feelings of sadness.
