This is my shrine to POKéMON #096, Happiny!

The baby form of Chansey and one of the cutest new POKéMON!

  • Come to think of it....Happiny is #440 in the D/P series national POKéDEX numbering system!
  • In order to evolve, Happiny must first be really happy and then be holding a Oval Stone as she gains a level.
  • Like her evolved forms Chansey and Blissey, Happiny are girls-only!
  • Happiny can sometimes be found in the "wild" in the Trophy Garden on Route 212.
  • You can also get them through breeding and from an egg given to you by a man in Hearthome City. But thats only in Diamond and Pearl versions.
  • In White version she can be found in the White Forest!
  • She's featured in the anime since she is one of Brocks POKéMON! That is... until she evolved into Chansey!
  • In the POKéDEX her species is refered to as the Playhouse Pokémon.
  • She is currently the only POKéMON with a catch rate of 130.
  • Apparently her name is a combo of happiness & tiny. She is kinda small after all!
  • Her "ability" can be either: Natural Cure or Serene Grace.
  • Her secret "ability" is Friend Guard.
  • In POKéMON Rumble she can be found in the Silent Forest!
  • Happiny was featured in the episode "One Big Happiny Family!"
  • In POKéMON Rumble Blast she can be found in Echo Valley!

    P: It carries a round, egg-shaped rock in its belly pouch and gives the rock to its friends.
    Pl/B/W: It likes to carry around a small rock. It may wander around others' feet and cause them to stumble.
    Hg/Ss: It carefully carries a round, white rock that it thinks is an egg. It's bothered by how curly its hair looks.
