Some abilities were given effects outside of battle in the Emerald version so any with two effects are for that version only.

Air Lock - Negates weather effects.

Arena Trap - Prevents fleeing. / Increases chances of meeting wild POKéMON if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Battle Armor - Blocks critical hits.

Blaze - Ups FIRE moves in a pinch.

Chlorophyll - Raises SPEED in sunshine.

Clear Body - Prevents ability reduction.

Cloud Nine - Negates weather effects.

Color Change - Changes type to foe's move.

Compoundeyes - Raises accuracy. / Increases chances of meeting wild POKéMON with a held item if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Cute Charm - Infatuates on contact. / Increases chances of meeting wild POKéMON of the opposite gender if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Damp - Prevents self-destruction.

Drizzle - Summons rain in battle.

Drought - Summons sunlight in battle.

Early Bird - Awakens quickly from sleep.

Effect Spore - Leaves spores on contact.

Flame Body - Burns the foe on contact. / Increases chances of hatching an egg if a POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot on the team.

Flash Fire - Powers up if hit by fire.

Forecast - Changes with the weather.

Guts - Ups ATTACK if suffering.

Huge Power - Raises ATTACK.

Hustle - Trades accuracy for power. / Increases chances of meeting wild POKéMON of a higher level if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Hyper Cutter - Prevents ATTACK reduction.

Illuminate - Encounter rate increases.

Immunity - Prevents poisoning.

Inner Focus - Prevents flinching.

Insomnia - Prevents sleep.

Intimidate - Lowers the foe's ATTACK. / Decreases chances of meeting wild POKéMON of a lower level if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Keen Eye - Prevents loss of accuracy./ Decreases chances of meeting wild POKéMON of a lower level if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Levitate - Not hit by GROUND attacks.

Lightning Rod - Draws electrical moves./ Increases chances of being called on your POKéNav if the POKéMON with the lead ability is in the first spot.

Limber - Prevents paralysis.

Liquid Ooze - Draining causes injury.

Magma Armor - Prevents freezing./ Increases chances of hatching an egg if a POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot on the team.

Magnet Pull - Traps STEEL-type POKéMON. / Increases chances of meeting wild Steel-type POKéMON if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Marvel Scale - Ups DEFENSE if suffering.

Minus - Powers up with PLUS.

Natural Cure - Heals upon switching out.

Oblivious - Prevents attraction.

Overgrow - Ups GRASS moves in a pinch.

Own Tempo - Prevents confusion.

Pickup - May pick up items./ Items will be different according to level.

Plus - Powers up with MINUS.

Poison Point - Poisons foe on contact.

Pressure - Raises foe's PP usage. / Increases chances of meeting wild POKéMON of a higher level if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Pure Power - Raises ATTACK.

Rain Dance - Slight HP recovery in rain.

Rock Head - Prevents recoil damage.

Rough Skin - Hurts to touch.

Run Away - Makes escaping easier.

Sand Stream - Summons a sandstorm.

Sand Veil - Ups evasion in a sandstorm. / Decreases chances of meeting wild POKéMON if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Serene Grace - Promotes added effects.

Shadow Tag - Prevents the foe's escape.

Shed Skin - Heals the body by shedding.

Shell Armor - Blocks critical hits.

Shield Dust - Prevents added effects.

Soundproof - Avoids sound-based moves.

Speed Boost - Gradually boosts speed.

Static - Paralyzes on contact. / Increases chances of meeting wild Electric-type POKéMON if the POKéMON with the ability is in the first spot.

Stench - Helps repel wild POKéMON.

Volt Absorb - Turns electricity into HP.

Water Absorb - Changes water into HP.

Water Veil - Prevents burns.

Wonder Gaurd - "Super effective" hits.
